Housing Needs Analysis released

The City of Waldport, driven by a citizen advisory panel and primarily produced by a consulting group funded by a grant from the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD), has been working on a Housing Needs Analysis report for the last year. In Decemeber it received the final draft report which will be accepted by the City Council at the Jan 12th, 2023 meeting.
The report details the anticipated housing needs for the next 20 years within the city and makes recommendations as to methods and strategies to increase housing to meet that need. It is a requirement of the State and City Planning Goal 10.
